Why Stationary Stationery?

What is offered here is just stationery backgrounds. I am offering no scripts this time, so nothing moves. For one thing, I do not write scripts myself and for another, this time I am going for valid html. However much I love stationery scripts, and I truly do, they very rarely validate to any standard. If you wish to view the backgrounds, just click the links in the menu to the left.

The French Stationery Group
There are numerous other stationery groups. The French Group is absolutely cutting edge. The Microsoft group has maybe a wider appeal. It certainly has more posts.

My Background graphics

The graphics here are mostly 1024px wide, which makes them suitable for stationery. They could also be used as backgrounds for websites. I made them with Paint Shop Pro 7. there is a version 8 available now. It has even more bells and whistles, but since I have not made myself familiar with the bells and whistles of version 7, I have not yet made the switch. With PSP7, I use a number of Photoshop compatible filters, many of which are free from the net. In due course, there may appear PSP tutorials on this site. Energy and dayjob permitting ;-). If you wish to use my backgrounds for your own, personal stationery or non-commercial website, you are welcome to do so. Just rightclick on the sample and choose "save background". You can format your stationery using the wizard in OE6. The code as it appears in "show source" on the right-click menu cannot be used for stationery. There is formatting information in an external stylesheet. You are welcome to look at that, too. Creating the html file with the OutLook Express stationery wizard is the easiest option. The choice is yours.
